Principality, or sovereign city-state of Monaco Marathon covers less than 2 square miles and has a population of about 33,000. Bordered on three sides by France and fourth in Italy, Monaco plays a role in the life of the Mediterranean coast of southern France, known as the Cote d’Azur or French Riviera.

Widely known for the casinos of Monte Carlo, the region offers a rich variety of prestigious events throughout the year for all tastes and interests to meet. The Monaco Marathon Grand Prix, held in May, its highest level Formula One racing for the first time in 1929. Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo has a spring season in April and a summer program in July, with the Monaco Marathon winter run of performances in December and January.

In late January, the International Circus Festival attracts the world’s finest artists of the circus and works in a prominent showcase of talent. In July and August, the night sky of Monte Carlo, illuminated by the spectacular performances of the International Fireworks Festival. November brings the International Monaco Marathon, runners who sends over parts of France, Monaco and Italy.

The Christmas festival in Monaco Marathon combines a variety of cultural celebration of the traditional December 25 observance of the Christian holiday. There are gala dinners, parades large and small scale concerts and activities in the principality. All regions of hotels and resorts offer special packages for tourists families of the season in a warm style and luxury to celebrate.
